A significant milestone was reached at Airport City Manchester on Saturday evening, as the landmark pedestrian and cycle bridge was installed over the M56 spur airport approach road.

RoC was the lead consultant on the project, structural , civil and  geotechnical engineers.

The 52.5m long and 6m wide bridge is a striking addition to the landscape at Airport City Manchester constructed from Cor-Ten steel.  The brand-new bridge, weighs over 380 tonnes and was rolled into position overnight by a specialised team undertaking the complex 12-hour installation.

The RoC Consulting team  is currently working on the delivery of the THG HQ Campus.
