Cameron Fitton is the proud recipient of the IStructE Young Structural Engineer of the Year for 2025.

Joining RoC Consulting in 2021 with a MSc in Structural Engineering from the University of Salford, Cameron received the Michael Horne prize for the best research project with a Structural Engineering bias.

From the start Cameron demonstrated a rigorous approach to tackling a diverse range of technical challenges. He has developed the skills to independently research new topics, to mentor younger engineers and pass on his knowledge to others.

Cameron’s drive to achieve an all-encompassing knowledge of structural engineering has enabled him to tackle the diverse range of projects at RoC Consulting, from tall buildings to bridges to Modern Methods of Construction. With his work he shares knowledge through the IStructE’s young members group, support at careers fairs, organisation of CPD sessions and past project experience, Cameron excels in supporting new graduates, student interns and work experience students.
